BABAA VS. TAA Compliance
Let us take care of compliance requirements for your benefit.
BABAA (Build America, Buy America Act) is a U.S. law that requires federal funds for infrastructure projects be spent on products made in the U.S. A sufficient percentage of iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the U.S. to receive government funding. BABAA compliance provides suppliers a competitive advantage by opening access to federal financial assistance and infrastructure projects.
TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance signifies that products were manufactured in countries approved for U.S. government contracts. TAA compliance increases trust in the supplier, which brings faster customs processing, reduced inspections, eligibility for U.S. government contracts.
AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) compliance means supply chains meet customs security standards and provides similar benefits as TAA compliance.
Our facilities in Vietnam are TAA compliant, and our facilities in Taiwan are both TAA and AEO compliant.
